![Question](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
It's time to replace the 17" Michelin Pilot HX MXM4 tires that came on my 07 TSX and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations other than Michelin's. I'm looking at the Yokohama S.drive b/c they say that their smooth and quiet... what I'm looking for. I don't care as much about the cornering as I do the ride quality and noise.

I went with Falken 912's and they have been great so far. They have excellent grip (that's because they are new) they have good tread wear rating, they also are bi-directional (move tires front to back / left to right) so they can be rotated to extend the life of the tire but the best thing about the Falkens is the lack of road noise.
The tires are very very quite, you don't hear a thing. The only negative that I read about the 912's was that they are not so great in the snow. I have dedicated snow tires so I'll be swapping the tires before snow hits the ground but otherwise the tires have been great in the rain and what not.

Basically for looks, and better handling (if any) but I'm not trying to take corners at 60mph. If I didn't have a drop than I wouldn't have gone with this size cause then there would be a bigger wheel gap.

If you're looking for smooth and quiet, you may want to check out the Bridgestone Turanza Serenities. They're much better than the OEM tires in terms of comfort, without sacrificing handling.

I have 225/40/18 Yokohama YK520's and they're great! Low road noise and very smooth. I went with the YK520 over the S.drive because the S.drive tires wear down faster.
