VETTES SUCK! ok they dont suck, my family has one but for real EVERYONE HAS A VETTE I SWEAR. how many vettes and how many vipers do you see? and VIPERS HAVE 500HP! they are wayyy better than a vette
P.S.- vipers only come in MT, wimpy vettes come in MT AND AT! thats why i need to learn how to drive MT

Ummm, have you heard of the 500HP 2006 Z06 that will POWNZ a Viper?

 

glad it took them 2 years later to match HP
PLUS its a ZO6.. if dodge had as many lines/upgrades in the viper then their zo6 viper competitor would probably have like 600HP since vipers base line is 500HP. only corvettes top of the line Zo6 can match it.

Honestly, I'd take it over a Ford GT...

 

The GT doesn't impress me at all...

 

Dodge needs 8.3Litres and 10 cylinders to make that 500HP while chevy does it with 7L and 8 cylinders. And HP isn't everything, the Z06 will run circles around a Viper all day long and do it in comfort and total refinement. The Viper is as unpractical and unrefined as they come and costs considerably more to boot.

Even the 400HP reg C6 is quicker than a Viper around a track, see Road and Track March 2005. The Z06 will completely own it, not even close.

 

uh, maybe it's b/c vipers cost like twice as much as corvettes
