JTso has a thread on how to do it.

how much of a drop did you get on your prokit/koni yellows?
i got mine sitting on the lowest setting and all i got was a two finger gap between the wheel and the fender. im thinking about getting sportlines for more of a drop.

here are the pics..
the front, which i think is the perfect drop:
and here is the rear.. i think there is something wrong with this:
i dunno whats goin on! cuz i've made sure the springs are sitting correctly and the perch position is at the lowest setting.

Here is my Koni setup... with even smaller overall dia than yours (225/45/17).
Front drop 1.75"
Rear drop 1.5"

Urgent, dangerous....gCHOW please read
gCHOW,
from what I see you or the mechanic have got the Koni's spring perch UPSIDE DOWN. When installed you cannot see the c-clip directly. It will appear hidden as the perch folds over the c-clip.
It is also dangerous now. The c-clip locator is cut out portion that fits snugly over the portion of the c-clip so it cannot expand and pop out of the groove.
Hurry up and change it please. Hate to think of the consequences when the c-clip pops out. I am sure JTso will verify my observation.
And btw have just installed my Eibach ProKit but have put the fronts on the highest rung and the rears I dropped it a little onto the second groove. The Springs seem to give the car a tail up look probably in an effort to reduce understeer but it does look weird. (I cannot believe with the car so slammed down it won't groubd the under carriage!)
Since the Pro springs are considerably stiffer than stock once past the first inch of travel, (remarkably they are slightly softer than stock at the first inch of travel or so) I would say it needs a lot more rebound damping. With experimenting I have got them a quarter turn from MAX setting. Thats a lot but it seems to control the secondary bounce better. The Konis increase rebound damping far more than the compression damping and have only a slightly harder ride as you crank in more firmness. But you will notice far better suppleness at high speed. However I recognize that in the US, concrete is the material of choice when it comes to highways and the expansion joints send a jolt through the suspension, any suspension but especially sports suspensions. We have tarmac over here and it has gentle undulations and also gives the suspension a workout but it is not harsh like that expansion strip joints.
Hope this helps and saves you.....

oh shit..
OMG.. thank you SOO much. i got the news and ran out and fixed it right away!
dAyam.. ive actually been driving for awhile with that configuration. i dunno if it'll make a difference, but if all of you have you set up with the spring perch downwards, then im doin that too!!
pics are here, so you know what NOT to do..

Do you mean rubbing? That might be the offset of your wheels is a little low. Are you still using the lowerest setting on the front strut height? Put it back to the top position might decrease/eliminate the rubbing. Also adjusting alignment setting would help... that's if you have a camber kit.

I guess it would if you are willing to crank in even more negative camber. But if you are happy with the situation now that you raised the height, yes by all means straighten out the camber.
I would say perhaps the offset of the rims are too low(I'd guess its +38mm) and the entire wheel and tyre sits to far outward. The only solution there is to get wheels with the proper offset(nearer original +55mm, Mugen uses +48mm) or raise the ride height and hope it won't scrape the fender if you must keep the wheels.
Some may even suggest beating in the lip of the fender but IMO it is not the offending part and too much offset deviation from stock design is not good for steering geometry anyways.

now that i raised the ride height it doesnt rub anymore. the car was simply just TOO low. the offset is a lot, and the wheel does stick out a little bit but doesnt touch the fender even in hard cornering.
im probably just gonna skip outo n the camber kit and just get my cat aligned..
thanks for all the info!!
