lighter rims
Hey guys i am thinking of getting a stronger and lighter rims for the 05 TSX. The one i was looking at is the Kosei K1 TS for the 17x7, weighted at 13.7lbs each and cost is 199.00. My question is what is the factory wheel off set on the TSX? On this wheel it is +50mm...is that good or bad? Thank you in advance...

I also have the 17" Kosei K1 TS. I weighed them before mounting and they came in at 14 lbs. I think they look pretty good, and with the Toyo T1-R tires, I believe I'm saving about 12-13 lbs per wheel, compared to stock (34 lbs vs 47 lbs). The only problem I have with them is the center caps they came with - ugly plastic. I'm trying to get new caps machined, but my local friendly machine shop is pretty busy right now. When I gets the parts done, I'll post some pic's.

Those rims are great, I was thinking of getting a set myself at one point. I think they'd look even better with a small drop though.

Gram Lights are, I think I saw, 13lbs. This is the 57pro, not sure on pricing though, I would guess between 300-400 a piece. And like most things Rays, are a bitch to get a hold of. These look almost identical to my G-games Wolf's, cept their 4 lbs lighter and 2-piece.

Made by Acura for our car, it is a matched system, the most simple suspension upgrade to maintain near-stock ride quality while improving looks and handling.

I think I really need a Comptech rear sway and some A-spec shocks/springs now.

I'm hoping not to compromise looks vs. performance and vise-versa.
**checking if there's a TSX w/ gram lights in the gallery **

I have a slightly used set of mercury silver VOLK CE28Ns 18X7.5 w/ +50 offset that weigh in at exactly 14.5 lbs each. Fully forged monoblock one piece wheels. If you're not familiar with these, here's exactly what they look like, same color too:

Lemme know if you guys are interested, I have pics I can e-mail you.

With my luck since I bought this bad boy, I need a forcefield around it.

Hey Drive4fun, your claim of 12-13 lbs caught my attention. What size Toyo T1-R are you running? I didn't see a 17" T-1R in either 215/50-17, 225/45-17, or 235/45-17 on the toyo website that weighed in at 20lbs or less. Their weights come in at 22, 23, and 25 lbs respectively. So looks to me like you're getting a max weight reduction per wheel of 11lbs. The only way you could lose 12-13 per corner would be going w/ 17" ce28n's or ssr comp's and using a stock size t1-r.

I have the G-games 77W's, as soon as I can get some pics now that its lowered, I'll post em...And actually, there are a few in the gallery that have g-games, and they look pretty damn good.
I think most 5 or 6 spokers look the best anyway. Anything past that and they start to look to "busy"

Also, the Toyo website also lists the T1-S at 22.9 lbs, so my initial information (from a tire vendor's site) was incorrect.

The pics with the g-games look pretty decent. However, I've noticed that all spoke styles tend to look smaller if they don't extend to the lip. For example, I have a set of multi-piece wheels on my Integra where the spoke only went 1/2" away from the lip and everyone thought they were 16" when they were actually 17".

Joe - hope you're able to dig up some pics. How much is a decent price for 17 x 7? I got a quote yesterday for $382.50 ea on the gram lights 57pro. I have no idea if the g-games is less??
