Kumho ASX vs. Kumho SPT
I've had my ASX 225/45 for about a year and 20k miles. Very impressed, much better than stock in all categories. The SPT is a newer design. Who has SPT's, what are your impressions?

from what i know, ASX is all season tires. I personally have SPT 215/45/17 on my stock tires. SPT's are summer tires, not all season, so the comparison would be a little weird.
They're great. I dont think they're all that quiet, but the grip is excellent. Tires can chirp from a stand still acceleration, but you can take turns pretty quickly without worrying about the tires. The wet traction is very good IMO. thread wear is...not so good i think, but they're summer tires, i can't think of many summer tires that last very long. The mpg wasn't impacted imo, although it SHOULD have gone up, i think, because of the smaller profile than stock. Also, i think these tires look cool, too.
Overall i'm very happy with my Kumho SPT's. Also, since these are so cheap that you can buy them and not regret burning like $million dollars for a set of tires.
