KONI-Pro Kit on lowest perch SETUP

Hi there, I have seen a lot of people using these suspension setup here, is there anyone who actuall y uses the lowest perch setup on all wheels? Is there any issues with bottoming out? I think the Konis are actually identical in length to the stock ones so I am afraid that by dropping an additional 0.5" will cause bottoming out. Thanks

The Neuspeed version of the Koni uses a 10mm shorter strut rod, just for that reason....

That being said, I haven't heard of anyone bottoming standard Konis.

I have the standard Koni Yellows with the Eibach Pro-Kit. I originally installed them with the spring perch in the neutral setting (= to factory) at all 4 corners and thought the rear sat way too high coompared to the front. I dropped the rear perch to the low setting, and it now sits perfect in my opinion! I can't imagine the front dropped to the low setting... I think that would be way too low! In my opinion, I think the drop on the Pro-kit vs the sportline is about the same on the front... the back is where the sportline lower more than the Pro-kit (or at least from pictures I've seen of the sportline)

By the way, even with the rear on the lowest setting, I have yet to bottom out...

I have yet to bottom out? does that mean you have NOT bottomed out?

I know that the rear is way too high compared to the front, but I also noticed that the spring stiffness of the rear is really low, so I am assuming that under some loads (baggage, passengers), the rear will eventually drop to a level that is even with the front. I am also planning to lower the rear to the lowest perch.

I have not bottomed out, and unless you hit a really big dip/bump, you shouldn't have any problems. I would recommend droping the rears if you like a more level look... I'm glad I did it! FYI - my shocks are set at 1 turn at all corners.

I have read some posts that the Konis dont work very well with progressive springs like the pro kit. Have you tried increasing the turns yet? A lot of people suggest to increase rebound damping and reduce compression as the progressive spring becomes stiffer when compressed.
