the only way i think i could preload it more, is by using a spring compressor... and bringing the perch up higher. i gave them alot of good cranks with the tein spanner wrench.. thats about as high as it would go without using cheater bars, or something bigger.

Measure from the bottom of the lower perch to the end of the threaded sleeve...how long is that? In the instructions, Tein recommends putting it at 1.2"

the adjustment is there for a reason, you can go all the way up or all the way down on the thread. the springs are longer than necessary to account for even more aggresive drops, so the spring doesn't rattle around.

god damn.. im not he-man or anything.. but its gunna take some muscle to get the perch higher than it is in my pics.. like i said.. next step is a spring compressor.

and reguardless if the spring is higher.. its backed up all the way to the top.. the strut is still streetched is far as it will go.. there's no way for me to know if the spring compresses with weight of the car when its lowered and loaded on the coil.

so.. im trying to say.. if the spring was 1" shorter.. and i could get the perch all the way to the top, i think it would still be the same height. the strut is already streatched out as far as it will go.
