I Need Quick Rim Fitment Advice!!

Ok right now I have 18x8 49et at all four corners. These rims are discontinued. Two are dented (thanks to Mr. Pothole) but I have the chance to purchase some replacements, but these are the only sizes that are left.

I know the 18x8 50et is my closest match, but what are my other options for the rear, I'm thinking I have the chance to run slightly staggerd, since all of these available sizes are not complete sets.

They might run out fast so I need quick ideas. The first one that leaps out at me is 18x9 44et? Would this work in the rear?

Wheel whores chime in and experts and anyone too. Thanks!

To run a 9" wide wheel in the back you would need an offset in the mid 50's so the 18X9 55 offset will work. You have a front wheel drive car so a staggered setup will look weird IMO. But it's your car and if that's what you like then go for it.

I'd suggest getting the dented wheels fixed. It will be the cheapest choice, and assuming you use a reputable shop (that means not necessarily local), you'll get them back looking like new.

How sure are you on this? I wouldn't want to rub on the shock or anything like that. I'm dropped about 2" so I wouldn't want the need to roll my fenders either.

Yeah, I agree with the staggered on a FWD looking weird but, I have limited options.

Yeah, I researched a few shops around my area and it just became to hit or miss with all the reviews I read. Though it may be cheaper it seems easier to just buy new ones if I can, since they are also discontinued. Plus, I can use them as spares, in case this happens again. Thanks for the input!

luder917 is running 18x9.5 45 offset in the back so I don't see why 18X9 55 would'nt work. I guess maybe you should e-mail him.
Here is the pics of his set up on this link https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...highlight=18x9

Point taken; if you can get the 18x8 et 50, that's so close to what you have already, they'd be the same as what you have for all intents and puposes.

well I am running 19x9 +47 with 5mm spacer stretched tire and a lot of neg camber to fit it inside my wheel well without rolling my fenders and I sometime rub my coilovers with the inside edge of the wheel metal on metal.

i am running 18x8 +35
the fronts needed some neg camber in order to not have to roll the fenders
the rears only needed mild camber
but i think i might be dropped lower than 2"

Well, considering the fact that I'm not dropped that low, and it sounds like I need a lot of neg camber or "stretched" tires to make 18x8 35et work, 18x8 50et would be my best bet.

I looked at your thread pics and you are definately dropped lower than I am. Looks good But, I don't think I could pull if off. Thanks for the input!
