I hit a pothole and blew out the michellin!

So I hit a gigantic pothole on the road and blewout my front tire I was really pissed since I was almost home and I wasn't driving that fast..but it was a pretty dark turn and I hit the pothole dead on.

But I used it as an excuse to get new tires all around today. I got the stock fitment of Fuzion ZRi tires. They are very grippy compared to stock, and the car corners are lot better and smoother, and it shaved down on the braking distance also! Definitely worth the money. I noticed the stock Michellins do not grip as well as when the car is stock..it was totally not smooth anymore, and loses grip easily..so I treated the blowout as a benefit Also with the comptech rear anti-sway bar it handles really well The car no longer squeal like a greased pig anymore whenI corner hard.

give City Hall a buzz, they will possibly reimburse you for the damage.

What kind of proof did your friend have to present?

Yes, please elaborate. I filled out an application for reimbursement but never worked, mailed them for a request, and that didn't work either.

He has a friend who owns a towing company as well as a repairs shop. The technician came straight to the place of the blowout took some pictures and wrote a detailed report saying that the damage was done by the pothole. I believe he called City Hall and asked who to contact for property damage done on public roads. A rep from city hall contacted my friend a week later and asked for details to what happened. Then agreed to have a check sent to him for reimbursement. I don't think City government pays many people with pothole damages, but it's always worth a try to call and provide plenty of proofs.

Too bad they filled the hole now..I can't just go back and take a picture of the deep hole before. I can only give them detailed personal report about my personal experience. still worth a try.

Another problem I encountered was when they were putting on my new tires, they measure the rear camber on both sides to be close to -2.00 degrees..Since the rear camber was not adjustable, it's definitely out of whack. They wanted to sell me a camber kit for $270, which I thought was too much. I've already read on the Acurazine forums that many people had rear camber problem on their tsx, even with stock (not lower) suspension setups. Does anyone else have the same rear camber problem?

Caltrans. A co-worker blew 2 tires on a photole... $400 of damages!! Caltrans sent the check within 2 weeks.

A copy of the bill and an explanation should suffice.
