Angry Help With Skunk2 Pro-s

So I just got my SKUNK2 PRO-S FULL SUSPENSION KIT installed on my 06 tsx and I am not happy I was thinking as its a coilovers I would have it dropped about 1" or so but detent happen the guy that installed it says that they where cranked up all the way but my rear wheel in badly tucked under the tire fender I have stock tires and was thinking if the coilovers jacked all the way up was meant to tuck the tire that much under the fender with stock tires. Could it be a bad set or just installed wrong or should I just pull them out and go with something different.

I'm not sure I follow - you've tried adjusting the coilovers and still can't avoid tucking rear tire? That doesn't sound right, are you sure you're adjusting them correctly.

I get the feeling your garage monkey put them all the way down and thought he was putting them all the way up.

If you want something done right...

Can you see the coilovers?
If so, is the adjusting ring all the way down or most of the way up.
If it's down, so more longer spring, there's the problem - you need to wind it up to preload the spring and raise the height of the car consequently.
If they are already most of the way up, then I'd have to assume the springs are not the rate they should be and you'll need Skunk2 to replace them - but for all 4 to be wrong (not impossible if it was a batch issue, but highly unlikely) would be a major eyebrow raiser.
If so, I'd be wanting them to do more than replace the springs, since you'll likely incur a second charge by the garage to strip and replace - and as it's not their fault, then they've no need to bear the cost.
But if they have the springs wound out fully, then that IS their mistake, and you shouldn't be out of pocket for them to rectify it.

I had some skunk coilvers on my old Civic. The spring rates were too aggressive and I didn't like them much. I remember that I could adjust to have about a 2 finger gap, but that was the max I could do without a spring compressor.

hey daicacharco...

either go for a FULL coilover setup, a-spec, or just aftermarket spring. Those skuck2 "coilovers" (half) does not worth your money... you can try, but I'm sure you will regret sooner or later... just an advice...

My point was, if you are going to ask a question, at least make it understandable. As far as wasting space, save your breath, because the same question has been asked over and over again on this forum.

icic, that's good. But what's the reason for you to go for those skunk2 half coilover instead of gettting some progressive spring???

i had that problem too
it turns out skunk2 had a bad batch of rear coilovers where they are way too short
luckily, they are not too far from me so i was able to go over there and get the correct size ones
