G-Games 77 Wolf's ordered. Better pic's, Pg. 3

I've got the G-Games 77 Wolf's 18x7.7" +42mm offset on order, should get them in a few days:

I've seen the other TSX's with these at the +42mm offset. Looks very flush with the fender wall. The guy at America's Tires though I was nuts since the suggested was +50mm offset. I got kinda worried myself, but looking at the pics in the wheel gallery, I dont think I can go wrong.

And besides, if im going to lower, I want to get it futher out to prevent rubbing right?

Sweet. Those are the wheels I want! You must post pics. Weigh them if you can, too.

lol...I'll see if they can do that at the shop before they put the tires on. Or it might actually be on the box.

I'll take some pics as soon as they are on. The car wont be lowered however, so its probably going to look a little funky until I do. Im going through another shop to get the eibachs and koni's installed and aligned.

Got the call, they are in the shop. Going this afternoon to pick em up I'll see if I can get some pics before it gets dark tonight.

Its gonna look a little silly until I get the drop though...

Looks clean and stylish. I hope it doesn't make your TSX look bulkier though. Take pics!

Ok, so I get to America's Tire and before they put them on, I wanted to see them. We go out into the garage, open one of the boxes and FUCK, THEIR GOLD.

So we go back inside and the guy found out that everything with the order was correct, the dumbasses in the warehouse sent the wrong ones.

I guess its hard to tell from the letters GL to GM So now I get to wait ANOTHER 2 or 3 days...

On a lighter note, they looked AWESOME in person And the golds would look sweet on a PWP.

Eh? I never said it looks bad nor indicated the rims were going to make your TSX look bulkier.
5-spoke's seemed to make some TSX's look more bulky, so I though it had the possibility to make yours look bulkier as well.

Anyways, unfortunate how they made a mistake.

iamhomin, who's tires and rims are scratched, chipped, due to NY's potholes.

Shouldn't be that heavy..........somebody on the TL board has the same rims but in 19's and he weighed them in at 23lbs a piece.

BTW how much do our stock rims weigh??

no kidding, i'd love those in Gold.

The 18" 77W should we 19lb. The TL's 19" wheels are slightly different, they are a 3 piece wheel unlike the 1 piece wheel that I'm assuming joerockt ordered. The multi-piece wheel weighs more than the one piece.

Now that would look totaly But damn they looked sweet in the box. I didnt even know they made golds. Their website only lists Gunmetal or Silver.

Its funny because I KNEW something wasnt going to be right. So when he opened the box, I really wasnt that suprised. Lets just hope those toolboxes in the warehouse get it right this time.

Yes, I ordered the 1 piece. But the 19s are 2 piece, not three. 19's

oops, 2, 3 its all the same

in any case the multipiece weigh more than the one piece, but they do look slightly different, that'd be the only reason to get the 2-piece 18s.

The 1 and 2 piece Wolf's look identical to me. Didnt see a reason to pay an extra $100 per wheel.

YES! Finally! They look SWEET in person. These pics were taken at night so they dont do the look any justice. But, here you go. I'll get some pics during the day tomorrow. Wheel gap is pretty gnarly, but really during the day its not that noticable. Comptech springs are next, should be the perfect amount of drop for my taste.
