Considered too aggressive?

So i just got this email from one of the shops that i'm dealing with to roll my fenders, he is stating that +25 for the rear is too aggressive for daily driving and is only good for "show car aggressive" so no promises are made if it still rubs and looks awkward. Right now i'm currently on 18x8 +45 wrapped around 225/40/18 tires. Should i take his advice and purchase +15mm spacers instead of +20mm to make it at +30 for the rear? or should i stick with +25 and not listen to him and take your guys advice since we all know much about our cars than he does.

From what I've read, 1*x8 +35 can be done w/o needing to roll your fenders. With that in mind, I'm pretty sure +25 can be done with rolling and camber.

How about with the tire size that i have? 225/40 will that be okay? and do you think a front camber kit is needed?

Too be honest, it sounds pretty fine to me. Don't go by me 100%, but I believe that tire width should be fine. Only reason I'm putting my .02 is because I've been looking for rims myself lately. I'll be going 19x8 +35 with 225/35 tires with just a drop and rear camber kit. From what I've learned from here, that's the max you can go before needing to roll your fenders or any other additional work. At 1* + 25 in the front, I think having the front camber kit would be helpful. I understand your predicament though because I just have the rear camber kit as of now. I'd say just do it without the camber kit & if it still rubs, go ahead and get them.

I will most likely go with +35 for the front or even either +30. Im doing some more research on that at the moment. but for now it seems like the rear is my concern at the moment. What rims are you looking at? narrowed it down yet?

Yeah, Work VS-XX +38 front / +36 rear. It's the closest offset to +35 they have for 19s.

That guy is crazy. I am running 18x9 +35 all around with 215/40/18 tires with 10mm spacer in front and 15mm in the rear. I only have a basic roll nothing crazy in the rear and in the front I just bent the tabs on my own. However in the rear I do have a significant amount of negative camber though.

I'm running 18x8 +35 with 225/40/18 probably finger gap all the way around I rub the tabs in the front and if I go any lower I will rub in the back. My camber is only -1.0 but when I get my fenders rolled and tabs pushed in I should be fine. Wish I went with 215/40/18 tires.
