hi,
I saw this Buddy Club N+ Coilover suspension selling on Ebay. Do you think this is a good price? Any ride experience of this suspension?
Thank you. Appreciate your help.

N+ BC are both shock and height adjustable, so it is in the same category as to the Tein SS. If you find one for $675, I'd say jump on it and run away fast.
I have the BC Racing Spec (comparable to Tein Flexes). It has the highest spring rate, second only to the Tein Flexes USDM version. I'd say the ride is much stiffer than stock but feels very solid and not uncomfortable. I like how the suspension feels really tight and solid, it's just a personal preference. As for performance, I was at the Socal Acurazine meet yesterday and we went for a drive in the twisty mountains, and I absolutely loved them. The more you push the car at corners, the more grip you feel from the car and the flatter it runs. The other thing I felt was, the harder you push at cornering, the lighter the steering wheel turns. It was just so flat and sharp that I could really aim for where I'm going.
It really comes down to personal preference, some people like Teins, some people like Buddy Clubs. They're fairly similar in terms of build and quality. I've been in my friend's TSX with Tein Flex, it felt slightly softer than my BCs, but then again, you can always adjust the shocks.

Just for clarification, N+ are actually more similar to the Flex than SS because the height is adjustable independant of spring load. The N+ also has the same spring rates as the Racing spec. I'm still waiting to hear from Buddy Club USA what the difference is between the Racing Spec and the N+.

I bought a set last night from this guy - I have e-mailed him and called as well - no reply. Hope this is not a scam. If you go to Ebay he still has an active auction on the TSX BC's - Just need to click on the on-line showroom and then select the TSX BC's - think the auction ends 12-5-05. Web site that shows up on the photos is www.velocityshop.com - says they are only open Tues - Sat - hoping that I will hear from them tomorrow. It seems like a great deal on the coilovers - maybe it was too good!

upper mount included
copy/paste from buddyclub usa website, I don't believe there is a N+ Spec that does 'not' have upper mount.

and plus if 870 includes upper pillow then it seems to be much cheaper than Tein ss as they dont include upper pillow

I got back in town last night so I called the seller as well - I did reach him. He apologized for the unanswered messages - said he was out of town. I recieved my tracking number today via e-mail so they have been shipped. I will let all of you know what they look like once I get them. If all goes well I think that his price is a great buy, so I am crossing my fingers!

On another note - I am planning to install these myself then taking the car for alignment. I am currently running Eibach Pro Kit and I plan to maintain a similar ride height. Anybody have any feedback as far as Ride height adjustment and dampening adjustment. I am street only so I would like to preserve ride quality but still have good handling. Appreciate any feedback about install, adjustmement, etc. for those that have been through it. Thanks!!

test drive. you can do more adjust on DAMPENING SETTING
When you doing set up for the damper. Please DONT preload the SPRING. because if you preload the spring . the pring rate will change. the car will stiff.

Good luck on your install and make sure to provide us all a review!

$850 shipped is a great deal - about $50 less than what I paid with shipping. Wish I would have seen this auction but I still feel I got a decent deal.

I just got a reply back from Buddy Club USA today, it also happens to be our forum member Buddyclub_TSX, he works at Buddy Club USA over in Ontario. Thanks Albert, for the fast response and clarifying this issue.
For those that are wondering what the big difference between the Racing Spec & N+ Spec, here is goes:
N+ have soft top mount
Racing spec have hard top mount
N+ have small valving for street
Racing Spec have big valving for Track and street
N+ has one spring rate
Racing spec has one spring rate (Note: can be changed to different spring rate)
Both have 15 way damping adjustment
Both have ride High and low adjustment
Both have same spring rate at NORMAL setting
So basically, it's similar to the difference between Tein SS and Tein Flex.
