Bridgestone choices

replacing the OEM tires this weekend....here is my choices

potenza pole positions: quoted at firestone: 779 total
yoko avids: from tire rack, installed for 90: 650 about
potenza grid: quoted firestone from 679 to a special sale of 524 total

basically the main question is are the grids any good, they are bridgestone potenza so they probably are not terrible but just looking for some opinions on my dilemma.

1)road noise
2)traction in wet
3)tread wear
4)performance

thanks

Which Pole Position?

RE050A PP?
Potenza S-03 PP?
Potenza RE960AS PP?

If you are talking about the all-season tires, then I assume it's RE960. These are one of the best AS tires on market, however, if performance is the last thing you care, you might go over G-01 Grid to save a couple bucks, or Yoko Avid 4 which is also good tires as well.

I'm not really the best person to ask about value, sorry.
I bought michelin pilot sport PS2's for my car.

I tend to just buy what's best, whatever price it is.

Currently have 62,256 miles on the original OEM tires. Have been extremely pleased with them so plan to get Michelin's again. (probably within the next two months)

any last input, im pulling the trigger tomorrow on either the PP for 720 installed or the grids 019's for 540 installed at firestone, of course I hear everyone saying PP is the best and I am worried the grids will suck in comparison, but do you think the grids are just as good as the yoko avid's? goodyear F1's? thanks, huge decision in my life, ha

I think both Yoko Avid 4 and Goodyear F1 should be a tad better than Grids 019 in dry traction when push to limit. It's your tires, buy accordingly to how you drive. If not aggressive just a family daily, take the G019; if you always like to have fun, PP or Goodyear F1; but they can never compare to "real" summer tires for traction

ya mostly interested in noise and smoothness with a tad performance....but the PP I hear are the most quiet and comfortable (and best performance), im not sure about yoko or goodyear f1 noise vs the grid
