Alignment after coilover adjustment?

Alignment after coilover adjustment?

If i loosen and retighten my front tein coilover set, will i need to get an alignment?

Just got one about 2 months ago.

Just to clarify, i will be unbolting the screws and bolts holding the suspensions and reseating them.

Which screws and bolts?
If the bottom set of bolts that hold the coilover in place, probably.
If the you're reseating the bolts and screws on the top mount, no.

You only need an alignment again if you adjust the coilover height or if you take the whole coilovers off and put it back on.

Why are you doing this?

+1 for Unless you change the height no alignment is needed.

I've had the tein ss "clunking" for a while and recently got a different clunk/knocking from the drive side wheel area. I wanted to go under the car and try to find where it's coming from and while im doing it try to get rid of that tein clunking.

I've taken my car to a shop where i always go and said the CV joints are fine, the car doesnt shake/viberate. and the wheel bearings are fine, no wheel wobble.

Im thinking its either a loose nut, sway or endlink. But its been getting worse and want to find whats causing it.
