Hey for anyone who has put new rims/tires on and used aftermarket lug nut set, what did you guys use? I would like to try and avoid rim theft. What were the specs on the thread, or what brand/part number did you use? Thanks in advance

Thread size is 12x1.5 (size and pitch). Very common lug nut size, but make sure the seat of the nut is correct. OE lug nuts won't work with most (if not all) aftermarket wheels because they don't seat properly. The wheels that I've bought new have always come with lug nuts, so it hasn't really been an issue. After market locking lug nuts are available, but I don't use them. My cars are always secure enough that I don't feel they're warranted, and many here feel there fairly easy to defeat anyway.

I have a set of almost BNIB Rays Extended Lug in Black, it comes with 16 lugs and 4 locks so no one can theft. I'm looking to get Blue color, so this set has to go.

Trust me, there is a way. I have two set of the standard length lug nuts from Rays and I found a way, but I'm not telling how!!!
