Advan Kreuzer X or Advan RS??

I dwindled down to these two rims. My car is SSM and plan to get the rims in silver.
There are several rides on the forum with the Kreuzer X and they look very clean and sporty. Not sure about how the RS would look. They are very similar but the spokes on the RS are thinner and the X has that inner lip that you can easily clean. It's gonna be a tough decision, i hope the place i'm getting them from has the X.(even though i heard they were discontinued)

^ It's all depends on the wheel width and offset. If properly chosen, then it won't be like on that Evo.

That style suits the Evo's arches - with the Accord/TSX being rather plain by comparison, I think the X's would be the more fitting of the two.
Of course preference is personal, and there are some members here and the Club site that have nice alternatives, but equally there are some that I believe have gone too far to be different and have spoilt the look of theirs in doing so.

I want to get gunmetal but it's too damn dark. I like the gunmetal on the Kreuzer V but i know i'll get bored of the 5 spoke design. I'll prolly get the X but have to see if the shop can get them. The size will be 18x7.5 with et 50, i would get 18x8 but the 45 offset will rub the fenders.

what about with 230/40/18 tires? I plan to go with no finger gap front and back.

17x8 with +42 offset rubs with 225/45/18 tyres with a 2 finger gap. A front camber kit is needed to avoid rubbing with that setup. I doubt a 3mm difference in offset would a great deal. Go for the 7.5 +50 offset - much easier and you should be able to go as low as you want

I went with 235/40/18 tires on my +49 18x7.5 Volks and I had rubbing problems, but after tucking in the fender liner up front it gave me just enough clearance.

I think Yokohama makes terrible wheels. In particular, I definitely wouldn't get any version of Kreuzer Xs...I think they look absolutely hideous.

I will have my 18x8 Kreuzer X's in hyper silver delivered to my job on Monday, and on my car Tuesday, after a three and a half month wait (thanks, Gruppe-S!)

God, I can't wait.

Voting RS just because there's too many of us X'ers on here now!

Wednesday, man - I took Tuesday off work to hit up Mavis, wash the car, and generally frolic with my new rims.

The Kreuzer X 18x8 weighs 16.5lbs, I believe. Pretty light!
