Acura 17" Sparkle Silver Alloys
Hey,
Where can I find these cheaper than the $1,316 that Acura quotes. I like them and would like to keep the factort style look, however these are a rip at that price. Where can I get these for cheaper? I am growing tired of the stock rims.
Thanks for any help.

I'm also interested in these wheels... but the 18". I'm looking at the actual Vador's as well, but most sites only carry them in silver. I was hoping for a hypersilver color.

Tommy, which Silver Sparkle wheels are you referring to? The only Silver Sparkle rim that I can think of is the new 18" TL A-Spec wheel, which comes in a finish called Silver Sparkle. I'm guessing you mean the Silver Star rim, which comes in a gunmetal finish. You can get these on eBay for less than $800.......

Amanda,
The 04 18" TL A-Spec came in a gunmetal, where as the 05 set is either Silver Sparkle or Light Chrome. The 04s are 8.5" wide, the 05s are 8". This is the Light Chrome; I'm not sure that pics convey the color very well.......

I came across a site that listed the Vador's as Hyperblack or Silver... I'm guessing hyperblack must mean the chrome/sparkle finish. I was hoping for gunmetal, but I really like the last pic you posted.
I've checked on eBay, then still run for pretty high (the TL A-Spec). My local Acura dealer doesn't have any in stock for me to see in person
I've still got about 2 months before I purchase, so I'll continue to look around.
btw... the RL A-Spec wheels, who makes those???

Just to clarify, Enkei makes all the TSX and TL A-Spec rims to date. The Vador's look similar, but are an entirely different brand.
I haven't seen any info on who makes the RL A-Spec rim. Are you talking about the 20" from the show car? It won't fit anyway.....except MarineTSX's car
......the 18" wheels are due out in the spring, and I'm afraid they'll be too wide for the TSX as well, much like the 04 TL A-Spec rim.

No, I wasn't interested in putting the 20" RL A-spec wheels on my accord, I was just wondering who makes them.
I'm more interested in the Nakayama Vador's than the TL A-Spec, because I can get them with tires a lot cheaper than the TL A-Specs.
Here's a price quote from discounttiredirect.com:
(4) 18X7.5 5-114.3 NAKAYAMA VADOR 5 - $900.00
(1) WHEEL INSTALLATION KIT (lug nuts) - $45.00
(4) 235/40ZR-18 91W NITTO NT 555 EXTREME - $492.00
(4) RUBBER/CHROME SLEEVE VALVE STEMS - $12.00
* Shipping: $88.00
$1,537.00
I'm looking at a few other places that sell the Vador to make sure I find the best price. What do ya'll think of the $1537.00 for everything?

The wheels I am referring to are the 17" Sparkle Silver wheels on the acura site right now. They are the same that are pictured in LannyM's post. If you go onto the website, it is there under options when you price it out. For right now I don't want the 18's, just the 17's.
It gives a cost of $1,316. There has to be somewhere out there that sells them for a lot less. I checked E-bay, and can't find anything that matches these wheels.

Those rims actually look like the tsx a-spec rims that I got but just a little lighter in color. I wouldn't pay that much money for those considering I got the a-spec rims for a little less then that price including installation..
What color is your car? If it is a darker color go the a-specs... The darker shine finish really compliements the car.
peace.

My car is SSM. So, I don't think the A-Spec's would look good with it. I think they would lok good with CG or NHB. I think the A-Specs look like they have brake dust on them 24-7. I called a dealership up, and they are willing to sell me the 2004 17" A-Spec wheels for $800 for a set of 4, the darker ones, not the new ones for this year.
My only problem is that I think the brighter ones would look good with the silver. I looked through the wheel gallery, but there aren't really any good pictures with SSm and the 2004 A-spec wheels. The pictures aren't close up enough or are at an angle. Does anyone have the 17" A-spec darker wheels on a SSM TSX with the underbody kit? I don't want to do a drop, so hopefully someone has a pic without springs. Will it look that dumb if I don't do a drop?

Tommy,
I have had my eyes on these since I bought my car. My dealer did not have them in stock for me to look at in person. I'm still waiting to see a set of these on a TSX. I've only seen the TL 18's and the high chrome 17" A-Spec version for the TSX. These are supposed to be a silver aluminum, unlike our current dull stock wheels.
This has been on my ebay watch list for 2 months now. Best price and only place where I could find them.

Post some pics if/when you get them.
