225/45/18 on a lowered TSX

Does anyone have a picture of a TSX lowered on 225/45/18 wheels and tires? Most people go with 40 series, but I find the sidewall to small with that profile. I searched, but did not find anything on it.

I don't think you'll find to many people running a 225/45/18...

225/45/18 is 2.0% difference from OEM. The sidewall difference from 225/40 to 225/45 is only .5inchs... don't think it's very significant.

If you wanted you could run a 235/40/18 that his only .3in smaller that the 45... and you would only be out of spec by 0.2% from OEM

your speedometer is going to be really off with a 225/45/18. the reason people go with a 225/40/18 is that it is very close to stock. also if you run a 225/45/18 its going to look really bad in my opinion cause its going to look like it belongs on a small truck even though you are lowered cause it will be 1 inch bigger than it should be.

Scroll down a little ways, there is a PWP TSX with gold Volks wrapped in 225/45/18 tires.

Thanks for the help. About the speedo difference, 2% equals a measly 1.2 mph at 60 mph. I would trade that for the increased sidewall for ride comfort.

I think the 225/45 will look ok, it will be a little harder to find a tire though since 225/40 is one of the most popular sizes for 18's. I just picked up a set of 225/40's after debating on going with a 235/40 and I am surprisingly very happy with them. I thought they were going to be too small a profile, but I was surprised that there was still a good amount of meat. I don't have a good pic to show you mine yet, my camera is f-ed up now.
