Yes, that's too wide.
Well, according to my noobness that is.
The calculator says you'll need a very high offset to make it work.
Probably like +55 or a bit more.

You could always roll the fenders...

I was thinking the same thing, but I'm going to go with 18x8.
I plan on a pretty big drop, my Tein SS's are going on next Thursday.
I'll bring it down to a 1/4 inch gap at most.

I originally wanted the 8.5 inch wide rims, but it just doesn't seem
to be all that possible with just a swap, you'll need to do a bit of
modifying.

What kind of drop will they be with? That makes a difference.

My anyways...

lots of threads on here about this

I'm running 19"x8.5" with a 45 offset and I don't rub dropped on eibach prokit. front is almost flush, and the rear is tucked farther in the well

Sounds like you wont have a issue with the 8.5" but if your still in the process of purchasing go with a lower number just to be on the safe side.

btw; next week I am picking up a set of 18x8's with 45mm offset, cant wait.

depends on the set up....certain set ups and lowered all the way down, you'll have some rubbing issues...and jayroam was correct...with his offset and drop, i know for sure he doesnt have rubbing issues...

I think this is possible w/o running camber kit. As long as you are running +43-47offset should be fine. Although, I'm getting 19x8 to avoid any kind of problem as well, but if he really wants to run 8.5 then it should be fine.
