New to the site.Whats up everybody?I put the eibach pro kit in my car and ever since the drop I have a slight rattle coming from the front left.Cant figure it out, car only has 12k on it.I took it apart 3 times already and every thing seem fine, tight.I tried switching the springs from side to side.Still no difference.Anybody?

 

Rattle....like a tinny high pitched rattle?

 

yes almost like a socket is sitting on the strut tower or something.Driving me nutz.Wasnt there before the springs

 

A socket, to me, make a heavier clonking or clunking sound, metal on metal banging.

The sound I was thinking about might be, like the brake rotor shield vibrating against the lower control arm...a common pitfall.



The sound you are describing sound like a noise that you might get as the dampers go up and down? A high frequency rattle or knocking sound??

I can promise you the springs did not cause it and it is not the springs themselves, it sounds like something might be loose. Of course with your multiple rechecks that does not sound likely. Nevertheless, that's probably what it is, something loose.

 

Dont really think its the dampener.Kinda sounds like a strut mount noise but theres nothing to these mounts.2 bushings inbetween the mounting bracket.its driving me crazy that I cant find it.it sounds like I should lift the car in the air and it would stand out like a sore thumb.but everythings tight.Well thanks anyway.
