I have not had the aspec yet, and am not getting my hopes up but based on what others have said, i think it will fit my needs! So its just personal preference but the two can't really compared for the sake of what your asking.

The aspec suspension was designed by Acura specifically for the TSX in which, it will lower the ride height by about an inch and improve handling, cornering, brake dive etc. The Tein's will do all of this but to a much greater extent in that they have been designed by a company that has their specialty in racing type handling. It is all a matter of personal preference. I had the Basics on my 04 TSX and the handling was amazing, ride height was perfect, but for me the ride was a little too stiff for me due to the roads in my area.

Thanks jwood_06TSX! I looked on the Showa website for info on the Aspec setup, nothing there (looks like they the stuff for the Honda F1 car though.)
With my new Baby come education IRA's amd other necessary financial obligations. My wife just won't understand an impulse buy, despite the great price. For those who feel like we're missing the boat, maybe we could do this again in six-months?
Everyone else, let us know how this improves over the crappy stock ride.

Info!
Ok Fellas,
I just talked to Tim and he will be posting the details shortly. There will be a few important notes to make sure you read due to the whole part number thing but this will be a group buy for a limited quantity of both the 04-05 and the 06-07 a spec suspension kits @ the $575 Tim gave us. If you have any questions prior to buying them feel free to ask me or call Tim. I think you will have to call Tim for purchase anyway and he will explain all that in his post. So look for that information soon!!!

Okay, here's how it plays out.......
jwood and I puzzled this out on the phone as far as part numbers, years, and applications. The problem gets to be a limited stock issue. Acura has:
04-05:
AT (3 left)
MT (1 left)
06-07:
AT (2 left)
MT (4 left)
Because of limited stock on this one, I'll be taking orders first come first serve at 1-888-729-5257 at the $575 shipped price.
