Tighter suspension + 20 more HP & a little torque + LSD - weight = winner

I went back to HK last month for vacation. I saw a TRUE black Accord Euro-R parked at the mod shop. It is so nice too bad I didn't bring my DC with me.

I have read the Jeff's review before, even though I haven't drove an Euro-R before I can't agree with all of what he said there. Comparing an Accord-R to Integra-R is just wrong, I thought Integra is supposed to be faster than an Accord anyway.(Who is going to buy ITR if its slower than the Accord? Honda already made a mistake to put the same K20A engine into Civic Type-R) Can I say ITR is not a real Type-R because its slower than the NSX-R?

TSXs suspension is indeed 5% stiffer than the Euro-R, but the weight difference is still the huge adventage for the Euro-R(Its actually 60kg lighter than the JDM 24TL not 40. I made a mistake in my last post.), plus the shorter gear ratio for the 6MT, 220hp K20A, MOMO-made steering wheel, Rekaro bucket seats...etc. Euro-R sounds like a true Type-R to me.

And once again Honda Japan decided to name it Euro-R back in 1997 because they don't want the buyers to have ANY confusion. Since the Euro-R and the European spec Type-R aren't the same thing at all.
As long as it's faster than the last gneration Euro-R it's the true "R" ~ Accord is never meant to compete with Integra but that doesn't mean it's not a "R spec" car~ remeber Inteagra is "the world fastest N/A FF" we got stiffer suspension cuz we r hella heavy and our tires sux hell .. ~~ making the suspension stiffer is alwayss cheaper to buy better tires ~ and well there is Type-R in Euro only .. ~~ but that doesn't meant the 2 generation Euro-Rs r not true Type-Rs and i think they r .. and there wont be another Type-R for Accord .. ~~ check the Australia spec Integra Type-R ... it's same as our RSX Type-S .... so can u say it's not a true Type-R .. ~~ This happens in many Jap cars .. ~~ see the NIssan ... we got more power with the Z .. then the 280hp Z in jap is not the true Z ???? ~

Most of the AWD models that Honda offers in Japan are lower end models...
ie 4WD Accord, Domani, Civic... they have the smallest output...

lower end as in, lower trim....
