Not sure if this belongs here if it doesnt please move n i apologize. Now Majority of us knows that our tsx is not a race car nor should we street race. This thread im starting is not for bashing but for people who are curious and constently ask for feedback on what car is faster. So weather you have won on a track or on the street do not post that just post the car you beat.

P.S. i did a search and didnt really see any post like this and i think this should be interesting and fun. Thank you for participating, NOW LETS SEE WHAT WE CAN PWN!!

hey guys no lie, yesterday while going home a 2004-2007 silver porsche 911 carrerra wanted to race me because he was reving his engine. well, duh i would never race a 911, not even a boxster from the stop light. i waited for him to squeel his wheels and see how far he can go before i just accelerated normal, he probably did a 0-60 in about 5 sec, while i just looking how far and fast the Carrera went. I shook my head in disgust cause I don't even want to race any Porsche. I would lose even in a TL-S.

haha, the gt i won was not a flby,believeme i was suprise myself now, thy are fast but none of them was from a start , from rolls, the gt shoul have won but he kept dumping and im pretty sure his tires were well worn in

its not the new stang, im not sure the gen but i wanna say 97ish around those yrs. Now i'll admitt it could of been a fluke win or maybe he wasnt pushing , all i know is that when we slowed down at the light he looked pretty upset. but this thread is not for bashing!!!!! lol

Doesn't really matter, IIRC the V8s in the GT have all developed 2x the torque of the TSX since around 1986 when they went injected. I drove an '86 back in the day and it had 225hp / 300 ft-lb, 5MT. Definitely snapped my neck back... nothing like putting it in 2nd on the freeway at 55 and taking it to yellow at 80.

No, yeah ill give ya 97 stang GT , Its a 4.6-liter single overhead cam V8, rated at 215 hp they are piss slow JUNK especially on the highway.

The guy in the GT probably wasn't double clutching like he should, so now him and the Evil Doctor are gonna have to tear apart the block to replace the piston rings he fried

I drove in the new Stang GT.. i wasnt that impressed. Its fast but compared to our car? Alot of you should atleast try to race something considered "fast" and you'd be suprised of the outcome. Not everyone who drives a fast car knows how to drive it.. So you could actually just beat the driver. Now if he said he beat a Cobra then im with you guys!..haha

Ive beaten a 2000 mustang gt.
its actually possible ya know. just try out beating some fast cars and ull be surprised how close you get.

I see all these VS video on youtube all the time, majority of them is not from drag, it's usually on the freeway. Most of them they just drive pass by another car claiming they beat the other car. It doesn't occur to them that the other driver was just driving normal highway speed 70mph while the guy driving pass could be doing 80 or 90mph. Of course you're going to beat the other guy when you drive 10 or 20mph more than the other driver. It's kinda silly really.
Now if you really want to race some car that you think you can beat take it to the drag strip or race track.

this thread i made wasnt just to see what cars we CAN beat but more of comparison if you know what i mean. Alot of members always ask how does our car compare to such n such, thats all this thread is for so i mean whats the big deal here....

These are all on the highway:

Beaten
1) 1st gen G35 (car length)
2) E90 330i (2 car lengths)
3) 3rd gen TL Type-S (car length)

Kept Up
1) 350Z
2) Neon SRT-4 (those things are FAST)

However, from a dig, no question I'd get killed by all of them (except maybe the 330i and TL Type-S).

Its just stepping on the gas if you drive an automatic... So i take it that you've never done any roll racing? Its fun when you take it to the track but the street is a different feeling. I havent street raced in so long but im not tempted as much as i use to be. The track isnt as fun when everyone there is 20X's faster than you!..haha. Atleast you can sorta match up on the street.
