running late.. then vs c230......
running late this morning... had to push sister's car out of drive way cause her car's battery suddenly died...... $&^%@%@
when driving down a wide street at 540am... wide open.. passed a c230 kompressor model...but we both soon came to a red light. Upon green, I punched it, didnt even know he was gettin ready to race me as well, I just heard a minor sucking sound of his car, either supercharger or some air filter not sure. What the heck, I just floored my car, was gonna floor it anyway trying not to be at work late. at first we were pretty even upon start, then I gradually start to pull away from him, then I had to turn to a side street which leads to freeway.
From red light to my turning point, it was about 1/4 mile.. Im AT bone stock, not sure of his drive train, but i was about 1 car ahead of him after 1/4 mile.... and I'm fairly sure i saw its a c230 kompressor model...the kind with 5 spoke sport package rim...
result: i still got to work late, but thought someone might be interested in knowing how the run turn out just in case you get challenged by one next time.

Kompressor's mean supercharged... don't think they had manuals available.
They're not high hp machines, but they put out good torque at low RPM's and weigh about the same as a TSX.

the c230 compressor is 194hp if I remember correctly and it should be a close match to the TSX but I do think the TSX has some advantage in acceleration both being auto?

oh and another thing a rwd car will never put power to the ground as efficiently as a fwd car. they have a slight advantage with grip at the start but after that the rwd sucks more power from the engine then the fwd.
and hondas also seem to have very good drivetrains in that they usually suck very little power from the engine!
