So I'm cruising home from dropping of my cousin and lo and behold a older acura coupe I think its the Vigor. I noticed a ton of gauges inside limo tints rims and a exhaust. So I say what the hell lets go. So me and him are creeping forward until green I didnt launch hard cause I wasnt sure he was going or not but he took off hard then i floored it. Immediately he jumps out to a car and a half on me and we only run up to about 60 but he owned me. It looked pretty junky but he got me. It seemed like he had REALLY short gears because by the time I was hitting 2nd he was getting into third. I talked to him after and he knew about the TSX suprisingly he said his car was stock with I/E putting out 260hp. Weel I got my as handed to me and learned a lesson never under estimate and never over estimate the TSX. Just wanted to share my embarrassment with you guys.

 

Vigor, huh?

 

I doubt a Vigor could be making 260 hp with just an intake and exhaust. Then again, I could be wrong, as I'm not sure what the Vigor made stock. Think I'll go look it up.

 

Well, the 1994 Vigor GS seems to have a 5 cylinder engine w/ 176HP and 170 ft-lbs torque. Could it have been a Legend? The 2 door LS came with a V6 w/ 230HP and 206 ft-lbs. At least that's what edmunds says.

 

Couldn't have been a vigor. The vigor never came as a coupe. The Legend, on the other hand, makes this story likely, though I doubt an intake and exhaust would take a 230 hp car up to 260.

 

Ok guys I guess you straightened it out for me. I was confused on whether the vigor or the legend was the 2dr coupe. It was debagged so I was just guessing at which of the two it was, I guess legend it is.

 

Legend coupes were nice, especially the rare 5MT. He might've sprayed (nitrous) as well...

 

Yea he was a 5mt...he never mentioned the naaaaawwwwzzzzz but you never know...

 

yea.. vigor was always 4 door.. must be a legend. 230HP.. the old one with type II engine could be fast..
