I was in my TSX following my girlfreinds Scion we were cruising on the freeway on our way home and all of a sudden, a Forester pulled and lined up next to the Scion the Forester had an exhaust, lowered, with rims. My girlfriends scion switched lanes and i came in between the scion and forester. I looked over at the forester and i heard his exhaust rev over my new kanye west cd. so i said to my self ill race this douche. so he was on the verge of cutting me off but i was already in SS mode (yes another
AT race) and i was at 65mph on 3rd so i pressed on the gas and we raced to about 110 more or less... i ended up beating him by half a car.. he went on his way and i had to slow down cause i had to wait for my girlfriend to catch up...

So typical, why is it that every street racing story I hear seems like one of those scenes from the movies? Is it so hard to have sanctioned races that are in controlled environments? Sure, "it was night" "there was no traffic" At speeds of 110 you're going to catch up with some sort of traffic or someone is going to pop out of no where and whack someone's dead.

It's happened around here several times, I've even been that "lack of traffic" witnessing it and have almost been hit several times by street racers or just morons in general who see the twinkle of an exhaust or the fact my TSX is a bit modded and automatically assume I'll race them. It's just plain annoying
