I believe the clutch was on the left side and the brake on the right side. That was no speed shifting with that arrangement.

I used to do it when I sprained my right ankle and I had to drive!!!.. yeah I know I was nuts but I really had to see the doctor and I am too cheap to get a cab...It wasnt bad just takes time to getting used to the timing when braking other than that it was easy.
