If anyone wants to see some pics now, go to honda-tech.com. Some people have posted some good action pictures. Most of my action pictures don't worth anything to look at. They came out very blurry. The cars must be too damn fast for my camera.......argh..........or maybe my camera skills?

It was a lot of fun, but poorly organized, overbooked, and windy as hell. The event itself was great (JGTC) but the drift stuff was really out of place, and they should have held that in Irwindale like they did last year. It was definitely worth seeing, though. It'd be nice to see a series of it here in the US, but I wonder how big of a following they'd get.

I spent several hours re-sizing the pictures last night. But for some reason, there was problem with the upload. You can go to the link below, the thumbs may still show the red "x", but you can click on them to view the pictures.

http://www.vwong.org/jgtc04/jgtc04-1.htm

Here are couple of the pics (I think a total of 130+):

I also finished re-sizing the pictures from SEMA (a total of 150+). Just like the problem with the JGTC pics upload, the thumbs may still show the red "x". Here's the link to the SEMA pictures, http://www.vwong.org/sema04/sema04-1.htm.

Was he supposed to be in the competition? I don't recall a blue S15, in face I don't think there was any S15 in the D1 competition.

I only stayed till the first 3 or 4 pairs of tandem drifting of the first round of elimination. It was getting cold, so I left.

The upload is finally done. Here are some more of the pictures.

JGTC cars in garage:

D1 cars in garage:

Drift King (the person who started the whole drifting thing):

Arh...don't know his name in English, but he's the older guy usually in almost all Best Motoring videos:

Some cars in the vendors' area:

Comptech supercharger for TSX (they claim it makes 230whp):

Hmm...should I post the pics of the models and turn this thread into NWS post? The pictures aren't really nasty at all, but they're girls showing some skins!!! Well, why don't I just let you guys to click on the link for the pics.
http://www.vwong.org/jgtc04/jgtc04-1.htm

And again, the pictures from SEMA are also done. Here's the link, http://www.vwong.org/sema04/sema04-1.htm.

Enjoy!!!

over S/C... must have...

And is that Rhys Millen's GTO in those pictures?

And I'm surprised Symbolic Motorcars is there. They're based in Beverly Hills and generally sell high end used cars (Bentley, Lotus, Ferrari, etc.). I've been there a couple of times and met the people that work there. A friend of mine knows quite a few people there. This doesn't seem like the type of event I would have thought they would attend.

Man...why can't Canada get the GTO? That's an American car that I would consider.

that CGP TSX belongs to me but I was actually surprise to see someone from this forum mention about my CGP TSX in the parking lot at JGTC.
