Is300

Anyone raced an IS300? What do you think would happen? I got challenged and the only mods I have are an injen intake and suspension.

you might get a ticket and loose your license....and probably get beat in the process.

actually it should be a pretty close race, but the is300 should have the edge (engine wise).

a search will help.

I think we can take a stock IS300..when i had my Matrix XRS (182WHP) I left a IS300 when "LIFT" kicked in at 6,200rpms..i put about a car and half on him from that point in first gear and then i just stopped because it was just gonna get uglier. And to me, my TSX feels faster off the line than my Matrix XRS so i know the TSX can hang.. I thought the IS300 was rated 0-60 in the 7second range??

The IS300 is a car that responds very well to mods. A friend of mine did I/H/E and a piggyback ECU, and ran 14.2 with an auto. I've yet to see even a high 14 second slip for a TSX, so be careful.......

And if you are looking for supercar performance in a sleeper package, what is faster than this IS300?

very fast IS300

Check out the vid where he hangs with a Hayabusa

A friend of myne has a Manual IS300 with I/H/E and its no where near being a low 14 second car..and i know the piggyback made minimal gains..not really tryin to say i dont believe it..but i question it alil. But in stock form we have a chance

I wouldn't have though it would run low 14s either, but I saw him do it.

As far as your friend's times, driver skill, track conditions, weather conditions and tires would all come into play, especially for a manual.

I've seen a few in the low 14's-here's a vid of a 14.5 second IS with intake and exhaust only......

14.5 IS300

Believe me, I have nothing to gain by saying that it's an easy 14 second car. I guess the good news is that the new model that the TSX will be competing against will be a 2.5L 4 cylinder and stock for stock we should be on the same ground as this one......

But the new IS levels the playing field with improved styling (Interior especially) and increased space. Two areas where the old IS was severely lacking.

is300's are pretty quick if they are MT.

my friend will kill me off the launch, but i always catch up at end of 1st gear / 2nd gear.

he's stock too.

well, i do have 19's. doh.

If my friends car was stock i would run him..but since he's not..i wouldnt know. He's been in my car and he told me that my car felt like his somewhat..but he wouldnt know how much so unless we ran.. Why do u seem mad?..lol to me you dont seem like the racer type because the 1/4mile numbers you have posted aren't impressive with the mods you have..but everyone aren't track stars..
