Second to third wasn't much better.
On the good side I think I perfer the position of the shifter better than on Hondas/Acuras. It is closer to the body and don't need to reach for third and fifth.

To me... the driver from the bimmer is very generous already.... 3.0 L engine w/ MUCH higher torque and 15 more hp.... Honestly, it can do way better than just one car length!!!! My frined has just bought a 06 325xi and the amount of torque I felt while riding on it could never be found from our TSX. Next time.... stay away from it......

ummmmm.... I dunno, the TSX w/ 6 speeds may be able to compete w/ the bimmer at the beginning of the race as TSX is slightly lighter.... but due to a higher torque and hp may give the bimmer an advantage in a mid and final stage. I still dun think it is a good idea to screw w/ the bimmer... For 5 speeds Auto will be worst as the gear swapping on a bimmer is so smooth and also quicker than our TSX.
Hey... dun get me wrong.... I still love my TSX after all..... as I am not a big fans of bimmer

I came across a Porsche 944 S2 the other day on the highway. This highway has a number of roundabouts on it with a 100kph/60mph speed limit. When the Porsche saw me comming from behind fast he gunned it with a little puff of red smoke and some tail squat. No traffic around and twin lane. Unfortunately I'm one of those 5AT "boy racers" (At 40 LOL) (Auto for the wife).
On the straight away he obviously pulled away, but not as much as I thought. (I later found out that the 944 s2 has 157kw/210hp) But in the corners I was all over him. I basically kept up with him, not bad for Jap crap! The 944 is a brilliant handling machine, the Euro/TSX is also pretty good.
So when guy's get all excited about quarter mile times and other figures in magazines remember It's not that hard to beat a more powerful car. Not all drivers are the same. Otherwise motor races would be pretty boring!
