I guess the TSX's on SPEED world challenge doesn't use ITBs

Although it's tough to see, it looks like a single TB and the stock IM is being used?


Note the intake and box used. I wonder how many HP this baby has...

It's a cable actuated throttle body. They use MoTeC for the engine management. They wouldn't say exactly how much power it makes, but somewhere around 280-300hp would be in the ballpark.

280-300hp ? I wonder what that figure would be if a catalytic converter gets thrown on along with the other CARB mumbo jumbo. 255? Either way, pretty good #'s considering the constraints placed on RPM, etc.

That's an RSX that you linked to, but realtime uses the same K24 engine.

Yes, they use an RSX Type S TB bored out. It is in their Tech sheet per www.world-challenge.com

Check out the open PCV sytem and catch can by the driver side shock tower.

I think we all would make 280hp running 12.5:1 cp ratio and 100oct pure race fuel.

My favorite thing was talking to realtime and finding out the suspension is worth more then the car it's on.

$30k car with a $60k suspension kit for the Motons alone.
