its not the car

Driver needs replacement.Car true potential can only be unleashed by any driver. and start using the fourth lane to win

immaturity gets you traffic tickets.. or worse car accidents then higher insurance... I guess you forgot about that...

immaturity gets you nowhere just another dumb ticket to pay which you could've been avoided. I too was immature till moved on from childish things...

The TSX with the auto is about 3300 pounds. The weight difference, compared to the manual version, and the automatic coupled to a 4-cylinder engine with low torque doesn't make for the car being particularly quick.

Some retired guy in a new Avalon beat me to an entrance ramp. He did get a head start on me, but the 3.5 liter makes something like 270hp with 0-60 times in the mid 6-second range, and I have a 6-speed TSX.

I don't know why anyone is surprised by this... the TSX wont get out of its own way unless it's going downhill on a sheet of ice. I have an 07 AT and I drove the 6MT before buying. I don't see why anyone would want to shift gears with only 205hp to begin with. Its not like you have race car; whats the torque, like 5lb-ft? I cant wait till I get some equity built up in this POS... gonna trade it ASAP. This car is the biggest disappointment with all it's creaks and rattles. Wish I had my g35 6MT back!

you can put all the mods you want on it... but remember this: you cant polish a turd.

Wow! Where to begin?!

I came from driving a Ford Fusion V6 (company car) to the TSX - don't knock the Fusion until you've driven it! It's a great car and it would beat the TSX off the line - but I could care less! I didn't by the TSX to race - I have not modded it (would add a CAI at most) - and I am very happy with the performance. I could care less if a pickup, 4runner or Fusion can beat me off the line. I can hang with anything on the highway and last way longer on a tank of gas!

All I have to say is this car is as far from a turd as it gets. Granted it is not a race car, it is extremely "zippy" and nimble at any speed above 15mph. The interior is refined and comfortable (as long as you call "shotgun") and the gas mileage is quite good. If you feel the need to "gun it" at every stop light - than don't by a TSX.

I am 99% satisfied and thrilled with my new (2 months old) TSX. The extra 1% would come in the form of auto lock/unlock - god that gets annoying!!!

WOOHOOO! I love to rant!

This thread is funny. My car was really fast with the supercharger and now it feels pretty darn slow without it. Passing power was great and made the car 100 times more fun to drive... so I feel your pain. When I trest drove the TSX before I bought it, it felt like a V8 since I was coming from a broken down 1993 nissan sentra. Don't race anymore 4-runners.

just wait until the your driver seat starts squeaking... then the dash will start creaking from the A-pillars. Then the sunroof will start creaking as the body flexes... and you'll start hearing a rattle coming from your steering wheel. Also, calculate your actual gas mileage- you'll find that it does not get what it said on the window sticker. It's one thing after another with this thing.

btw, I didn't get the car to mod... I got it because I wanted better gas millage and cheaper insurance than my 04 g35 6MT coupe. And I thought Acura/Honda was supposed to be good quality. If I wanted a car to race, I'd get an 87-93 LX Mustang Coupe... then you actually have something thats worth the time and money. I really don't want to be one of these kids riding around with a Honda and a coffee can for an exhaust that sound so ridiculous. I mean, people spend thousands of dollars on mods and you still have a 4 banger with the infamous VTEC. I'm gonna order me a four barrel, headers and some high speed hubcaps for my 07 TSX... and maybe a big ole iVTEC sticker! That'll scare em!

I'm coming from a V6 Mazda 6, which the fusion is based off of, and I feel the same way. The TSX isn't as powerful, but it's powerful enough and so much nicer than my old car that it makes up for any loss of power
