Anyone autocrossing their TSX on the factory tires?

I only auto-x'ed my TSX twice when it was completely stock. I don't remember the exact pressures I ran, but I know they were high. Try 42psi front, 35psi rear.

i don't remember the pressure I used with the OEMs, but they certainly didn't last long autocrossing

Thanks. 42/35 is probably lower than what I would have guessed.

It depends on what class you're gonna run in. For classes that allow R-compound tires, most people use either Hoosier A3S04 or Kumho V710 or Victoracer. Kumho V700 are alright, some people like them, but most of the fast drivers prefer the other Kumho tires.

For classes that allow street tires only (i.e. STS, STS2, STX, & STU), most people use either Falken Azenis and Kumho MX. Some use BFG g-Force KD, but these are more expensive than the Falken and Kumho.

I was just talking to the Justtire technician here in Irvine, he recommended Kumho MX as well for the price and performance. Hey Vwong, have you ever seen a 2002 or 2001 Black S2000 at California Speedway before? The car got a set of Volks Gold rims, I believe they're TE37s. Only other mod he has is catback exhaust and front lip. I mentioned to him about you being the event master there and he said he was at the event that same weekend. He's seen your Prelude before

Hm...I don't remember. I was so freaking busy (and soaking wet) that weekend. I don't recall seeing one.

It's usually very easy to spot my Prelude because I'm the only one with a Prelude there most of the time.

That weekend, rain was pouring like crazy, I'm surprised to hear that the event still went on? What are the most popular cars you see there at the track??
