5AT Mazda 3 2.3s vs. 5AT Acura TSX?

Question 5AT Mazda 3 2.3s vs. 5AT Acura TSX?
My friend who owns a Mazda 3 2.3s seems to think he can beat me in a race. He

thinks because he got the (s) version and his car is far lighter he can beat

me in a race. I'm was pretty sure I could beat him at first, but I'm not so sure

anymore after hearing about the TSX getting owned by many otehr comparable cars.

We're both bone stock. Who do you think would win, a 5AT TSX or a 5AT Mazda 3?

Also, what are the weights of the stock Mazda 3 and TSX, Ur ...

Well... he's only got 160hp and 150 lb/ft of torque. That isn't too much. Plus his auto is only a 4 speed (i got this off the website, the only 5 speed mazda is the manual).

Although you do weigh 500lbs more than him.
It may be a close race.

Unless there are some twisties... then you could prolly take him if you didn't have the cheap stock tires.

Yea I think so too, but I'm bone stock right now, I have my greddy EVO2 coming next week from wholesale and I'm planing on picking up a Pro-Kit and injen CAI, then Hondata. Once all that stuff is done I will own him. And the modding won't stop there...

You'll be able to get him no problem!.. you should have the gearing advantage also since he's only a 4speed auto and your a 5speed auto..if he was a manual than you would have a little trouble on your hands.. just go race him and you will most likely come out on top

Just try him and report back. No matter the outcome, it'll be easier to believe than "I followed an M3 crap".
