15.7sec 1/4 Timeslip Bone Stock

Raceway Park in Englishtown NJ. Temp was 49, Humidity was 68..

R/T .... .792
60' ..... 2.420
330 .... 6.699
1/8 ..... 10.193
MPH .... 70.45
1000 ... 13.184
1/4 ...... 15.716
MPH .... 87.31

Not the best start...my previous 60' was faster (2.370) and ran a 15.8sec 1/4.. when i did my 15.7 i had alot of wheel hop because i didnt catch traction at all, so at 6K Vtec kicked in and wheel hop got serious after that point, so i just switched to 2nd at redline...and still managed to pull a 15.7

With that 60 feet (2.420) you should have made 15.2x or 15.3x.

Yup, nice time Get Hondata, you'd be close to breaking into the 14's for sure.

Yea..what messed me up was that i spun tires all the way through!..i want to stop spinning right at 6K rpms..i launched at 3,700 rpms..when i ran my 15.8 i launched at 3K rpms.. So next time im gonna keep it around 3,400 to 3,500 rpms.. Tires almost caught traction before 6K cause i heard the spinning startin to calm down, and then right at 6K.."Urrrrrrrrrrrtttttttt" lol I caught no traction all through first gear and still ran a 15.7 i wanted to run again soo bad but that was my last run!! I'll post the time sheet later.. thanks for the compliments!

15.5. But I think either
A) dzuy can't drive
b) He was on a slow track (Likely, since even Mustangs were in the 15's)

I think the TSX runs much better in cold weather.
My car always feels a little faster to me when it's cooler outside.

It was the same at my track also.. i ran faster than 2 stock SRT-4's..both doing High 15's low 16's... I would've ran alot faster if i would've caught some traction in 1st gear..but i didnt..but still hit 15.7 ..im gonna try to post the time sheet at my friends house..most likely it'll be a post from another site..but im gonna try

Not made of ice..the track was nice..its all on the launch! I was tryin to find the right rpm to launch from..i tried 2K rpms and ran 16.1...i then tried 3K and ran 15.8...so i tried 3,700rpms and ran 15.7 with alot of tire spin well past 6K rpms..when i ran my 15.8 and launched at 3K...i stopped spinnin my tires at 5K rpms and then hit 6K+ I want to get a 2.3 or lower 60' and stop spinnin right at 6Krpms.. i'd probably run a 15.2 stock i'll try to launch at 3,300 to 3,500 next time..i might go next wednesday

I was refering more to the srt4s running high 15s...those things are fast stock.

Kurt was able to get his 60' down to 2.2 on the stockers launching at 3500rpm and very low tire pressure up front and if you do that you may be able to hit 15.2 stock.

So the Potential of the TSX + Hondata + I/H/E lies somewhere between 14.0~14.2?

Probably more like 14.7 which is still pretty quick.

It will be a cold day in hell before any naturally-aspirated full-interior TSX pulls a 14.0.

Someone please prove me wrong!

Who knows?? Nobody here with good driving/racing techniques has posted about their times with this setup...If i wasn't trying to go turbo i would consider Hondata's application. But with those mods you should be in the 14's period!

If Kurt pulled a 15.2 or 15.4 bone stock,

(Intake = $200
Header = $450
Hondata = $600
Exhaust = $850)

It costs $2100 to shave off a little less than a second?

Damn!

Just wait..in the future there will be a tone of things to do with the K24.. You have cams coming/ better headers/ clutches/ flywheels/superchargers/ just imagine a supercharger/cams/header/intake/exhaust/and hondata reflash or K-Pro in one complete kit?..or all of that Minus the Supercharger if u want to stay all motor?!..just remember..you gotta pay to play! The TSX didn't come from the factory as a monster!.. its your job to create it!

when the reference was made to my "icy" track - it was referring to the track being slippery.

Let's all chip in for a new set of "sticky" tires for PStylez.

The launch, at least, has to be greatly limited by the crappy stock rubber.
