Hey there.. I have a 03 CL (very tight) and the acura gave me a brand new TSX as a loaner.. The night that I got it, I was on the way home and a guy in a VW Jetta ran a red light and hit me going around 45mph almost head on.. Except for a place the steering wheel hit my knee, I wasn't even sore the next day.. all the airbags opened and every LCD screen in the car had been cracked by the impact (AC/Odometer, Radio). The guy in the Jetta got out and looked like he had just come back from a street fight.. bloody, bruised, beaten.. All I can say.. is TSX vs Jetta (probably 06-07 model) and the TSX won. I tried to go get some pics of it but since it wasn't my car.. i didn't even know where they took/towed it.. the dealership really didn't care.. i got my car back.. and every thing is fine now. That TSX kept me safe.. I just wanted to get that out there...

 

well its good to hear your alright. so now that guy who hit the tsx has to pay acura to fix it?

 

Yeah.. He did.. or his insurance.. it was totaled.. so .. I hope he didn't have to pay out of pocket... he wasn't drunk.. he just thought he had a fast car that'd make it through the light... well.. not fast enough.. hahah..

But, yes.. that tsx provided a "shell" around me and i wasn't even jerked around much.. very safe.. because I was going about 25 and he hit me going 45.. so it was quite an impact

 

Dang man...sounds pretty extreme. Glad to hear you are ok though. I hate to hear when our poor TSX's are wrecked but at least it wasn't yours.

 

Glad to know that you are ok.... Especially at night, I normally double check the intersection before crossing it, in case I am getting hitted by one of those moron who think they are on a fast car and can do anything that they thought is possible...........
