Those of you who own an automatic, do you notice that your transmission won't upshift (or is delayed) after you drive on the highway for a while and then drive in stop and go city driving? Is it normal? Weird.

 

it might be because you were crusing at high speeds, and there's only so much a tranny with 5 gears can do to keep rpms low. It's probably the tranny adapting to you going faster on the highway, and therefore delaying shifting so you can get optimal performance. After pushing it hard in SS, you can see what the results are when you're in D and it shifts at 5,000 rpm going only 15-20 mph. from what i understand, it's nothing more than the tranny adapting to your driving, nothing wrong. (from what I see)

 

I had a similiar problem. Took my TSX in to the service depo. and they fixed her right up... It wil be covered under the warranty, so don't worry...
