Exclamation Window Problem!! Please HELP?!?!

So literally all of a sudden my passenger and both rear windows wont go down. Not from the driver switch or each individual door. My sunroof and driver window work fine. When you push the buttons from the driver switch, theres a click but nothing happens.. I checked all the fuses and i think they are all good so i have no idea what it could be. With the nice weather we've been having i need my windowsss.....HELPP

Did you check the window lock out switch on the drivers door?

Perhaps it is, the lock-out switch can, and does, fail. Unfortunately, it's a single module with very little hope of repair. I suggest considering a junk yard unit...but if you know someone with a known good unit, try a swap.

Excellent data, did you see any evidence of why the old unit failed?

I just started having this problem on my 06 TSX - I am surprised it is the switch since when the lock is on/engaged the individual windows don't click, but when the lock is off the pasenger window/door and rear doors click like they are trying to work...

What is the part number???

i know i was really surprised too to find out it was that. none of them went down even from each door but it worked!
As far as the part number idk.. i ended up looking on ebay and saw a local place was selling one. i called and they had it in stock...
after it was in my remote had to be reprogramed but just google it and find the instructions its simple...Good luck...Lemme know if this helps!

Well I found a few used door switches on Ebay - but in the end decided (wife really) that I didn't want to deal with the hassle.

We were taking the car in for the PS hose Recall and asked abuot getting it fixed at the same time by the dealer - $200 fee to find problem (yes it is the switch)!

Well it ended up costing me $560...after complaining about a higher bill...

But I guess I didn't want to do it myself with a used part - so that is my punishment...dealer quoted $299 for the part.

I needed a video how to I guess to attempt it myself...I hate taking apart body panels and doors etc...nothing ever seems to go back on right.

Our car has 97K so it has a bit more wear and tear than yours.

The dealer was kind of confusing - They charged $200 up front to find problem (could have told them it's the switch) - then called to tell me the fix was $399. We were told when droping off the car that it would cost $200 to get inside the door and find the problem - we thought that amount would go towards the final repair - apparently that wasn't the case...I complained about the "minor" discrepancy and got a little $ off.
