Where to send nav for repair

So my Nav isn't booting. Sometimes the globe will come up and it'll reset to a black screen. Or sometimes get to the code screen but not respond to touch. Sometimes it'll say downloading info don't move. Every once in awhile it'll work normal but resets within a few minutes.

What's really strange is I shut the car off but leave it in acc mode it greatly increases the chance it'll work.

Maybe I'm blind but I don't see where to send it. Found a post mentioning sending it to Alpine for repair but not how.

first check the disk, is it scratched or damaged at all. sounds like it can't read the disk. if not consult your Dealer

Also you may want to run a lens cleaner disc on the player...

Disc is fine, lens cleaner isn't a bad idea.

Although I've found threads here where people here have had the same problem and had to send it in. I asked on that thread but got no response. The guy I talked to at the dealership couldn't help me. The guy I usually talk to that actually knows what he's talking about wasn't there when I called.

I just got mine back from Alpine last week. Their Customer Service # is 1-800-421-2284. Had to mail the dvd drive to:
Apline Electronics 2012 Abalone Ave Torrance, CA 90501.
It costs $158, and it took about a week from when I mailed it out to when I got it back. Hope this helps.

Just a follow up.

All the information above was correct. It seems calling ahead is not needed at all. The only thing it did was confirm the price and address for me. She didn't take any info at all. I packed it up with a note telling them the problem and all my info. The called for a payment and I gave them my credit card number and it came back to me shortly after.

Nice to have that working again after waiting too long to do it.

I just got mine back this past week, took 2 weeks because they said there was like 10 tsx Navi systems in at the same time needing the same parts. But for 158 bucks and free shipping back to your home thats hard to beat.
