Whats wrong w/ my Air Conditioning??

Can someone offer any advice?

My A/C was acting funny last week. When I was driving the A/C stopped being cold and warm air was coming out of the vents. I was at my destination and turned off the car. 1 hr later I'm done and going back home, the A/C is cold again. I didnt think anything of it.

Today I'm coming home from my inlaws and the A/C just stopped the cold air. We stopped off to get some gas and turned off the car for a few mins. When I turned on the car, cold air came out of the vent. 5 mins into the ride the warm air again.
I turned off the A/C for 5 mins and turned it back on. Cold Air again for a few mins then warm air. I did that all the way home.

A/C was on 67 degrees both times. I have an 04 TSX w/ a lil over 77k miles on it.
I'm going to call the dealership tomorrow. Any one exp this before?

CHECK YOUR TEMPERATURE....

your engine my be overheating. in which the ac will automatically start to blow out hot air... until the engines temp reaches a good norm.. then it'll be cold again =X

You should do a search. This has been discussed so much. 2004's seem to be prone to AC failure. Go to the dealership or shop. I hope you have the extended warranty b/c you're out of the factory warranty.

More likely it's the relay problem a number of other members have seen, mostly 04s. Search around for a/c relay.

I saw the 04 A/C broken thread and the A/C invoices thread. Ouch!
