What To DO. Newbie
Hi Members,
Just bought an used 06' 6mt navi TSX.
Only 25k miles.
Having the common clicking clutch problem. Constantly clicking, everytime clutch is depressed.
Still under powertrain warranty.
Called the Acura of Peabody for an appointment, I was told that I would be charged 125 for diganois fee.
Should I need to pay for any repairs if this is the identified problem?
Please advice. As this is my first time dealing with warranty, and dealer.
Thanks!

I have an 05 that had the clicking after about 30k miles. Lubrication of the piston rod at the pedal will help or eliminate click for awhile. Eventually dealer replaced clutch master cylinder. Has not re-appeared in 30k miles.
There may have been an improved clutch master cylinder part that has been developed. There has been a service note issued for the TL but I am not sure if it applies to the TSX.
If you are under warranty, there should be no cost.

Not sure this is under the powertrain coverage. The fee indicates they think it isn't. Time to go to the dealer and ask for a list of all covered items under "powertrain"...they have it on their system.
The click is at the point where the clutch pedal actuator rod pushes into the master cylinder. Get a spray can of white lithium grease from any big box store and give it a shot while pushing the pedal in and out. Mine's been quiet for about 10,000 miles ...
