weird starting issue this morning-2006 auto

car stumbled when starting this morning, held key in starting position and rpms gained and finally started.
all fine- 15 mile drive, turned off at work, and restarted 3 times fine.

never ran low on oil, oil changed every 3k miles, 103k miles. no lights.

Weak battery and/or corroded battery terminals should be investigated if starter action was irregular or slow.

good luck

You can take you TSX to someplace like interstate battery to double-check to make sure that isn't the problem. I had low fluid levels in two of my cells on my battery and interstate filled them up for free. The TSX doesn't like starting with low cranking amps.

As mentioned above - check your battery connections for both corrosion and tightness at the battery. Also check battery cables at the other ends as well. How old is the battery? Might be time for a new one.........

I was thinking about getting the INNOVA 3721 Battery and Charging System Monitor for $14 on Amazon. A battery and charging system monitor might be a good way to double-check you don't have a power draw issue if the car sits for a while. I think it can also give you a real time read out of the volts during start-up to see if the power is a little low. I've had battery issues on all 3 Acura vehicles that required replacement of batteries, firmware updates, alternator replacement, and module replacement.
