Vibration after new tires and after balancing
Vibration after new tires and after balancing
I recently replaced my OEM tires with new tires. I got them mounted and balanced at Sears, and I started to get a vibration. I took it back to redo the alignment, and it improved, but was still there. Then I took it back for a 3rd time, and at first it seemed to be gone, but now I think it's back again.
Mind you, the new tires (Kumho ASX's) do flat spot a bit, but the vibration is still there intermittenly even after they're warmed up.
Any ideas what's causing this vibration? Or Sears just can't balance them right. I didn't have any vibration before I put on the new tires, so I don't think the wheels are bent (well, actually one of them is very very slightly bent but I couldn't feel any vibration before).

Ahh I forgot about that.... no Sears don't use the Hunter road force machines. The balancing at Sears is for lifetime ($13.99 a wheel), makes me feel kinda stupid if I paid for lifetime and took it to another place. hmmm.... now I'm faced with a dilema
