Uneven front/rear break pads

I took in my Acura TSX for an oil change yesterday. The dealer let me know that I had warped front rotors which were causing my steering wheels to vibrate when braking. They changed the the front break pads/rotors under warranty.

At the same time, they told me that the rear break pads were at 5% and I told them to change it. When paying for all this, I noticed that the bill said the front break pads were at 50%.
Why would there be such a big difference?

It has been known that our tsx's wear out the rear BRAKE pads faster than the fronts. Consider it normal operation.
