Trunk release button stuck

Weird thing happened.... You know that button under the trunk lip? Well it stopped working. Whenever I press it to pop the trunk open from outside, it doesn't budge. I checked the trunk lock switches inside the car and everything is unlocked meaning the exterior button should release the trunk. Is this button electronically controlled? Should I have the dealer check it out? Thanks.

Yes, you should check it with the dealer as mine was broken somehow a couple months after I got the car. It was covered under warranty. Good luck.

If the switch in the glove compartment is in the correct position, then yes, the dealer has to fix it (under warranty).

Where's the trunk switch at in the glove compartment. Mine recently quit working (along with my pass front door lock) but I may have bumped the switch while changing my cabin filter.

Check the left corner inside the glove box. If you feel for it, you might rub against the switch without knowing because it's very discreet. In that case, just look in you glovebox on the left side and you'll find it.

My trunk release button stopped also. I think after cabin air filter change. I looked for it - did not see a button. How does it look? Is it in the left front corner back corner? A bit more info please. Thanx.
