The trunk and Horn

Just about every morning before I go to work I open my trunk to put thing in there. Once I close it the horn starts to go off. I have to unlock the doors so it will stop. This has been happening for the past two weeks. Has anyone else experience this problem or is this suppose to happen?

That should not be happening with the stock alarm. I have a similar routine (I'm sure others do as well) and do not set off the stock alarm.

Off to the dealer with you! Should be a freebie if still under warranty.

I open my trunk with the doors locked, and slam it after. Sometimes really hard. Alarm never goes off. Time to hit the stealership.

Serious?

You know there's no shock sensor, right?
