I wanted to know if there was anyone out there who has had a similar problem. found sunday morning that my transmission fluid was leaking. took my car in on monday and just found out today that there is a hairline crack in the transmission casing. they are also telling me that the manufacturer is looking into whether other tsx's have a similar problem. digital photos had to be taken and sent to the manufacturer. my dealer can't do anything until they can figure out the exact location of that hairline crack. I am new at all this, so any feedback would be comforting.

 

Wow...that's no good. Do you have an AT or MT TSX?

 

I wonder if it has something to do with the special pre-delivery inspection that was to be done on a certain VIN range. Maybe this car missed the inspection?

i have AT TSX. it's only 3 weeks old. took a 3 hour drive this past weekend and noticed the leak. refilled the transmission fluid with a quart. i got my car in libertyville. i'm wondering now if they knew about this before they sold the car to me and if there are other tsx's with the same problem.

 

my car's VIN falls within that VIN range. i just hope that they take care of it properly and soon cuz i'm missing my car.

 

You should give your dealer hell for missing that special PDI when it was announced over 3 months ago. Good luck and keep us posted.

 

Ah...you answered what I was gonna ask next... Hope they can get it fixed up for you. I'm hoping they missed this one...instead of having it fixed and then had problems with it...
