Hi All,

Wondering if anyone can give me some insight to the problem i am facing.

I have a 04 TSX - A/T with 85k miles. When i shift the car from park to drive i get this vibration that shakes the whole car. Once the car is fully engaged into drive there are no issues, only when shifting from park to drive. If i go from netrual to drive, no issue.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I would suspect that one or more of your motor mounts are going bad, and it's causing your engine to "rock" back and forth while being put into gear.

 

I have that problem too. Except in my car everything shakes when its put into reverse and sometimes in drive.

Does your transmission make this banging sound when it engages? My whole car jerks when I put it into any gear on the 5AT

Any luck with a solution/diagnosis?
