Throbbing/vibration through gas pedal ... wtf?
Hi, All
I have a 2005 6MT with just over 90k on it, and suddenly I'm noticing a throbbing/vibration through the gas pedal. It's most noticeable around 3000 rpm but it's not very consistent.
Clutch is original, but still seems strong. No slipping. In neutral, the car revs smoothly. Brakes seem fine; I have Racing Brake rotors in front and original stock rotors in back; I suppose one of them might be warped but I'm not noticing any problems while braking and they don't seem to be overheating.
What should I check next?

There isn't any noise that I've noticed, and I normally don't have the A/C running. No difference with the stereo off, either.
The suspension and alignment seem fine, too, but I've seen some similar postings that mentioned a bent axle; I'd think that the symptoms would be more consistent if it were a bent axle, but does that sound like something I should consider having checked?
Also, have seen some posts indicating cracked engine mounts, but wouldn't that also be more consistent throughout the rpm range and in neutral?

Took the car to the dealership, and the culprit is the axle (right side). Other than the door actuators failing, this is the first problem I've had in 90k. Hopefully the shocks and clutch will remain strong for a while.

Update
Unfortunately, it turned out to be BOTH axles. Ay yi yi. After the right side was replaced, it felt better, but after driving on it for a little while, I still noticed a vibration between 30-40mph and again around 60mph. Replaced the left axle and now it's back to normal.
P.S. I still have no idea how they got bent. I'm the only driver, and while I like to drive fast, I don't drift or anything like that. Alignment is still fine, too.

The metal rod part of the CV joint likely did not bend. The CV joint has an inboard and outboard joint. The outboard can bend when the wheel turns. The inboard can rise up and down. If that makes sense.
